"I see," said Kakashi, who clearly didn't see at all.
"Yeah, the clouds on the coats are supposed to be a soothing visual for kids?" Obito said, as he decided to dig himself deeper.
"In red and black."
"Okay, the color scheme could maybe stand to be changed," Obito conceded. He heard Konan snort from underneath the table.
He glanced briefly at Hidan, who was now shaking his shoulders, and the entire curtain, laughing at Obito.

“Yeah! That’s right! Why are we here?” Wen Chao immediately chimed, very obviously taking his cues from his elder brother – much to the latter’s irritation, judging by his immediate scowl.
Lan Qiren knew that he needed to pick his next words very carefully. With recalcitrant students, a teacher only had a few opportunities to really connect with them. If he allowed them to dismiss him or categorize him as an enemy at this early stage, it would be an incredibly uphill battle to gain enough respect in order to teach them anything, and in this case, given the strength of their background and the fact that this little teaching session was both likely to be short and definitely completely unauthorized, it would quite possibly make it completely impossible to ever get through to them.
“You are here,” Lan Qiren said solemnly, each word slow and thoughtful, “because your father is an ass.”

Aemond time travels: Aka, what happens when you give a person who has spent his whole life with an enemy as his strongest emotional bond, let him vaguely saunter downwards into destruction and darkness until death, and wring out the emotional intensity of his future after his time-travelling experience. (*cough* you may find a highly functioning psychopath who decides he can't be fucked with this bullshit until he's reminded he can claim ex-enemy as a husband and Feel Actual Love)
This is really good, if you can look past the typical GoT stuff. Also, Allicent is an Evil Drama Queen Lesbian in this (i can't help but love her despite it)

This story is an artwork, painted by the current political climate, it buried itself like a tiny seed in my heart and roots emerged with themes of introspection, and liberation, breaking and putting yourself back together again. It is exactly what I needed and I think might be one of my favourite books ever.

Summary
Kim Hajin is met with two choices at the end of his story.
Destroy the world he spent 10 years protecting. The world he fought and killed and lived in, just so he could go back to being a mundane, struggling author with a boring, civilian life. Or, keep the world alive, but be forgotten by everyone he knows and loved, with everything he had worked for in the last decade being erased from existence.
So, it shouldn't be a surprise that he refuses both versions of hell, and decides to choose the third choice: throwing himself into the fog of the universe, and making his own path.

AU where Hajin gets thrown into the ORV universe instead of being forgotten or sent back. Dokja and Co get the fun new addition of a ruthless mercenary/world saving hero in their gang, and they try to survive the Story together :)
