“What do I need,” Pete replied, level.
Vegas flexed her hand in Pete’s hair and leaned forward to whisper. “To be put in your place.” One of her hands slipped into her pants pocket and she extracted a now familiar looking key. “And you know why I know that? Because I’m going to let you out of these chains and you aren’t going to move an inch.”
Pete’s hand twitched at the thought of freedom after a long day chained up. Vegas released her head for favor of reaching over her to grab where her hands laid. With a quiet snick the first cuff released and then the second. Vegas shoved the shackles unceremoniously off the bed and they crashed loudly onto the floor. In the following silence, they stared at each other, unmoving. Vegas was first to move. She pulled back and unbuttoned her black satin shirt with nimble fingers, revealing the curve of her breast and a bra the color of red wine. It did not go unnoticed to Pete that she now sat perched with her legs splayed around Pete’s hips. Pete, for her part, remained motionless. Her arms ached from maintaining the position. She chose not to think about why she didn’t move.
