Summary
Chasing his creature across the continent of Europe for nearly two years, Victor happens to find himself in Allerdale Hall, coming to the aid of a grievously injured Thomas Sharpe. He is tired, and also not one to let prime lab space go to waste, so he stays.
The creature no longer wants to be in Europe. His creator denies him a companion, and he is tired of hunting him down. He stows away on a ship headed to New York.
Edith has survived the horror of Crimson Peak and just wants to go home. She, along with Alan, begins her voyage back to Buffalo to try to pick up the pieces of her life.
Elizabeth is a free woman. She inherited her uncle's estate, she didn't marry into the Frankenstein family, and she is looking to move on with her life. She ends up in London, intent to travel to America.
