The first time the new neighbor sees you is 6:30 AM on a school day. You’re perched on the steps in front of your door, dressed in the most embarrassing baggy pajamas as you have your first smoke of the day with a cup of coffee. You glance up as you hear the door across the street open and see him, dressed in the tightest Levi’s possible with a worn but plain white tee tucked in them, a denim jacket hugging his broad shoulders. The sun shining on his mop of blonde curls with an annoyed look on his face as he struts to the gorgeous blue Camaro parked on the street. You look away the instant he smiles at you, taking note of your fuzzy Snoopy pajama pants.
