Summary
Enid raises an eyebrow, slowly shutting her laptop closed. There's a clear question in her eyes: why do you know all of that?
Wednesday hates that she can feel the slight burn in her cheeks, “They've been distracting recently.”
Enid somehow looks smug when she smiles at her, full teeth on display. “You’re cute,” she says, swinging her legs over the edge of the bed, now closer than Wednesday can effectively handle. “Well, how much do you know about werewolf hearing?”
Wednesday straightens, now facing Enid. “Only what everyone should. Werewolves have heightened auditory senses able to perceive frequencies and distances humans can’t.”
Enid hums, a sound caught somewhere between a sigh and a laugh, her ears twitch again, this time in perfect sync with the quiet stutter of Wednesday's heart.
“Yeah,” Enid softly says, tilting her head, “Something like that.”
Wednesday's eyes squint slightly. Her gaze lingered, her eyes tracing the curve of Enid's ears, almost elfin in appearance, delicate and soft despite the power they possess.
“Would you like to touch?”

Her pride wouldn’t allow it. She always had the last word, always played three steps ahead. She wielded silence like a weapon and wore detachment like armor.
Until Enid Sinclair came crashing into her life like a lucky charms themed hurricane.TLDR: emotionally constipated Wednesday tries (and fails miserably) to keep her cool, calm, and collected appearance around her gf who's shes totally not in love with (*spoiler* she's down bad).
