“Where in the everloving shit are your parents?” the Asset demands.
“Dead,” the kid says promptly, and grins at him again before darting forward to examine the restraints. “I got this, don’t worry.”
“I got questions for your legal guardian,” the Asset growls.

Summary
It had been a long time since the Court had made an appearance in Dick's life but that just made it all the more jarring when a Talon shows up in the middle of a mission and throws a wrench into the whole plan. The shock and fear keep Dick from acting and in the end, that's what leads to everything being laid out on the table. There would be no more secrets by the time this day was done.

Summary
Jason had given up his own mantle with the move out of Gotham nearly a year ago after long talks with Dick, his cape-friendly therapist and himself. He wasn’t sure if it was permanent yet, but for now Jason was content to keep himself busy with housework and the weighty task of filling the extra-bedroom-turned-library with books that suited his picky nature. It was oddly domestic and just a couple years ago Jason likely would have shot anyone who suggested this was where he would end up.
Jason, now retired from the vigilante life, is thriving as a stay at home boyfriend. He cooks, cleans, reads and waits patiently for his boyfriend to return from work each day.
