Castiel was just stunning. The kind of beauty you would see in renaissance paintings, and that was an understatement itself. He was caring, overbearing at times, yes, but that never truly made Dean mad or uncomfortable.

No matter how hard Dean got "pissed" at Castiel for that, they both know he never meant it. The grin on his face usually gave it away. Or the way Dean’s eyes shone and crinkled with happiness - happiness he tried so hard to bury deep, and never let it come back up.
Every time he tried, it always failed anyways.
Castiel was breaking down his walls. These walls, which Dean had always made sure stayed strong, were slowly starting to wear down, and he was worried one day, they would crumble completely.
He would never let that happen.
