This fic is baced on the very begining of season eight. Dean has just come back from purgatory and found out that Sam didn't look for him. He's furious but they have a job to do. Along the way, Dean starts seeing Cas everywhere he goes but he's the only one that can. Is he going mad? Of course, Sammy won't accept that he just misses the angel because after all, why would he?

Dean, Sam and Bobby aren't hunters. They still live in America but it's a very different place then it is now. People can and will be locked up and mentally tortured for not following the ridiculous and unrealistic standards they have set.
Anything other hetrosexuality will not be tolerated. There is only two gender's. There is only one way; their misguided 'Christian' way. You must be hard working and emotionless. Failure to comply will result in you being taken to the reconstruction unit.
When the government's guards get an anonnamous tip about the boys, things go rapidly downhill and Dean will do anything to get his boyfriend back.

Castiel has just about had enough of Dean's frivolous requests. He's very sorry if he can't make himself available for a human's every whim and fancy, it's just that he's a bit busy fighting a civil war in Heaven at the moment. This is the third vague prayer he's heard from the hunter in as many days, and Dean has the nerve to sound hurt, even broken, presumably at Castiel's lack of reply.
