Summary
The blood ritual meant to 'fix' Dorian fails, and Dorian stumbles away from the place he used to call home into the night, flesh embedded under his nails and the rust of blood on his tongue. There is so much to do - his mind will no longer allow him rest or indulge, and when the sky tears open and he receives a letter from his former mentor inviting him to join him in service under a new god he cannot stop himself from journeying deep into the south, no matter how dangerous it is, no matter how he flinches at the sight of his own shadow - no matter how his shadow flinches back.
There is only so long he can pretend nothing has changed. He saved what was nearly torn from him, but he gained far more than just himself.Dorian joins the Inquisition while possessed by a demon, and he (and his friends and loved ones) must learn how to live with what haunts him. Basically, if you like spirits and spirit rights and the idea of a fic that follows an "abomination" learning to live in harmony with itself as both human and spirit heal from their shared trauma and strengthen each other, this is for you! Lots of angst, lots of healing. Eventual Bull/Dorian(/spirit???).

Summary
At first, the Iron Bull is just writing poetry to Dorian because it's a fun way to tease him—he gets all huffy when he's pretending he doesn't think the lowbrow stuff is funny, and besides, he started it by making it a Vint-versus-Qunari thing. It's only fair for Bull to needle him a bit.
At first, Dorian is only writing back to Bull because he can't let him win. The pride of Tevinter's literary tradition (not to mention his own dignity) is at stake here, and he will not be beaten at metaphor by someone who thinks cattle-related puns are an appropriate way to seduce someone.
And that's all it is. At first.

Summary
Fenris and Anders try to understand each other, and sometimes they succeed.
(It's a snapshot Act2-and-onwards canon rewrite along the lines of Least Favorite Acquaintances to Haphazard Two or Three Person Group Therapy to Friends—to Lovers if we get that far, but my main motivation for writing this is to give their relationship the positive development they could have had and deserved to have in canon and that they would need to have for 'to Lovers' to be a plausible and healthy step to take. So... mind the Slow Burn tag.)
