She pressed her lips against Jean’s neck. She could do that. She opened her mouth, moving her teeth towards that smooth flesh - but they were stopped. She couldn’t bite her. She held up Jean’s wrist and tried to bite, but she simply couldn’t.
Emma Frost could not bite Jean Grey.

Summary
Natasha Romanov is forced to face her hard past in wake of Wanda's magic bringing it up. Wanda is trying to cope with the loss of her brother and trying to manage her new life with the Avengers.
The two (eventually) overcome their differences and learn that they can be good for one another. It takes a while, sure, but maybe they could be friends.
Or more. They're not sure.
They have a lot more to deal with when Civil War breaks out in the Avengers and they end up on opposite sides.
Takes place after Age of Ultron, and later during Civil War. Also makes significant changes to the plot of Black Widow. It's basically the story of Civil War and Black Widow, but altered to fit a Natasha/Wanda storyline. Plus a bunch more changes I added.

The unpacked belongings had been shoved to one side, revealing strange chalk markings on the floor, what looked to Emma’s amateur eye like magic sigils. In the center of the room was a metal folding chair. Rachel knelt next to it, carefully not touching the chalk, looking up at the figure sitting in it, dormant.
Emma blinked. It was Jean. And also it wasn’t.
It was Jean’s body. To Emma’s normal eyes, she looked like she was sleeping, her chest rising and falling peacefully, her lips slightly parted. But to Emma’s mental eye there was a coiling thing where her mind should be. It felt slick and sharp at once, almost oily. Emma didn't get too close.
“You see the problem,” said Scott from where he stood by the door.
