Suchen is one of my otps and Chen being my bias is just one of the many reasons why I love this fic so much, and because it's non-au I love how the author used Jongdae's perceptive personality in the fic especially when it came to the needs and wants of the other members.
I also love how subversive Jongdae was (although i might've appreciated it less if Junmyeon didnt point it out explicitly but that's just really me haha) and tbh Jongdae's subversiveness was integrated very well in the fic and I love how this was less about Jongdae being just willing and pliant like most gangbang fics go where they just like being screwed with little to no participation. Here it was more about him being active and subversive even in the little ways like how he would milk out chanbaek during the spitroasting and honestly the whole time with Kyungsoo

‘And you still don’t get to fuck me,’"
tl;dr: I am godless and this enables me so bless the author for this.

I came here for smut but got sweet slow burns instead so bless the author for this. I might be spoiling here but I am such a sucker for slow burns and casual descend to fluffy domesticity and the tone captured the adorably desperate pining so well. I love the build up and the sudden drop in tension because I probably wouldn't have been able to live through this fic and all its fluff if Baekhyun didn't provide comic relief. A+ fic and obviously I love it because I am suchen trash.

The author's tone was just perfect for the fic's narrative that complemented the canon text really well. I love freeform fics especially when they're done right and flow well while still maintaining a sort of staccato quality. A delight to read if you're a fan of the original series and suffering from your nth rewatch, as I was.
