“You look really nice,” he manages, voice quiet, and he hears laughter, his friends find this entertaining, which is lovely, but he’s still staring at Lily, and how the fuck can he be expected to ever look away?
“Thanks, Potter,” she grins, wolfish, a sliver of teeth behind blood stained lips, and he doesn’t say, you are the reason that poetry was invented, to describe girls like you.
