Summary
It took a moment for Luffy’s eyes to focus, but to Ace’s surprise he perked up visibly upon seeing Law standing beside him.
“Torao!” Luffy rasped, sitting up. His voice cracked miserably on the first vowel, but there was no mistaking the obvious excitement contained in it.
“It’s been a while, Strawhat,” Law greeted him lightly in return.
Ace’s eyebrows lifted on their own accord. Strawhat?
Tora–what?

Summary
Seeing Luffy once more in person after making-do with faded wanted posters for such a long time makes his insides turn warm and gooey like melted taffy. Ace’s been to many places, he’s seen quite a lot in these three years they have spent apart, he’s met all sorts of people, engaged in all sorts of relationships with them, tried outlandish food and witnessed views he never thought existed.
And still seeing Luffy look at him with such excitement and elation is what ends up taking his breath away.
Aka the obligatory EP95-inspired Alabasta AceLu reunion pwp.

ciel finally gives into ran-mao and lau's offer for opium. sebastian tells him a story.
-
'It feels too desperate, too vulnerable, to voice exactly what he needs. So, he settles on saying, “Lie down next to me.”
“Yes, my lord,” Sebastian says before he settles in next to Ciel, nearly an arm’s length away.
The proximity is almost unbearable. Ciel likes this too much. He wants this too badly. He should tell Sebastian to stand up. He should kick him out of the room and enjoy the fact that his worries are nothing more than quiet whispers in the back of his mind.
“Would you like me to tell you a story?” Sebastian asks, his voice much too soft.
Ciel nods, inching closer. He’s almost near enough to latch into the silken shirt Sebastian’s wearing. But at this distance, it would still be far too obvious.'

Summary
Ciel unabashedly stared at him as Sebastian finished buttoning his shirt, expression politely focused. Sebastian returned his look as Ciel raised his arms to assist Sebastian with putting his jacket on. "Yes? You had something to discuss?" prompted Sebastian.
"Last night's particular nightmare," started Ciel. He didn't want to offend Sebastian or imply he was more frightened of him than he actually was. Such a thing seemed absurd as Sebastian rolled his knee socks on. "It was about your true form."
"Ah." Sebastian grinned, slipping Ciel's feet inside his heeled boots. "That would do it for most people, young master. I apologize for the glimpse you caught of my true hideousness." Rather than employ self-depreciation, he sounded pleased.
"I need to overcome my fear."
Sebastian let go of Ciel's foot, standing up so he towered over him. He selected a ribbon and threaded it through Ciel's collar, trying it in his signature bow. "Seeing me again would only embed the fright deeper. There is no way for you to be able to see me without recoiling at best."
"That's the idea." Ciel toyed with the end of the bow, rubbing the smooth material between his fingertips. "I won't see you, but I could feel you."
