Eddie felt like he was finally getting back on his feet. New job, new apartment, new best friend; the alien symbiote he now played host to. That part was sort of complicated and he was just beginning to understand what he'd signed up for.
Though it wasn't exactly as if all the details had been explicitly spelled out for him before he'd bonded with Venom.
'Dear potential host, the following document contains important information on the care and comfort of your new symbiote.'
No, symbiotes didn't come with an instruction manual. There was no plan, no detailed guide. They were both just figuring out this human host and alien symbiote thing as they went along.
Teaching the symbiote right from wrong, learning how to deal with it's weird obsession with their new neighbour, Flash Thompson, and hopefully not becoming San Francisco's current local cryptid were all things Eddie could handle, right?

Summary
Charles is kicked out of the Westchester manor by his mother claiming he needs to learn “independence” and be truly on his own for the first time in his life. Heeding Sharon, he moves into a one-bedroom apartment in a building owned by superhusbands Tony and Steve Stark-Rogers, attempting to find a job and become a self-sufficient young mutant. With time, he comes to be acquainted with the building’s varied occupants and deal with the suicide of his sister Cassandra and his brother Martin running away from home years before the start of the story, along with his own depression and the turmoil-heavy times as mutants fight for their rights and say in government. Along with the apartment, comes the guardian cat statue, Ghost, and the out-of-body dreams he has many nights, during which he meets the spirits of the dead attached to the building or its residents.
Furthermore, Charles meets his grouchy upstairs neighbor, Erik Lehnsherr, who he finds himself falling in love with despite the man’s constant rebukes and scornful attitude toward monogamy. In the midst of Charles’ journey toward true independence and self-discovery, his brother’s surprise arrival threatens his progress and any further growth.

He turned his head to the side taking a long drag, the dome of the nicotine rising up in him, before blowing a compressed cloud of smoke in her face again. Instead of snapping about how rude he was or pushing him away, as he predicted, she brought her face even closer to his still, parted her lips, and breathed in the cloud as he exhaled. Fuck.
Cooper wasn’t thinking, couldn’t think when he stepped between her legs, slamming his hands on the hood of the car on either side of her. She leaned back in surprise, but didn’t recoil, bambi eyes as big as saucers as he hunched over her, crowding her in.
“The fuck was that?”

Cooper can't stop himself from having dirty thoughts about Lucy. Distracting as they are, he has been able to ignore them for the most part- that is until he rescues her from the Legion and something in them both shifts. How can he resist corrupting Lucy, especially when she's asking for it?(Alternate ending to season 2 episode 4)

He knew that shadow on the horizon. Recognised the taste, the telltale tang of metallic radiation in the air.
Radiation didn't hurt ghouls, persay, but a man could be too healed. Too... vigorous. It made everything sharper, more overwhelming. Made you angry, sad, but most of all, it made ghouls like him want to fuck.
And the Vaultie? Little Miss Prim and Proper?
Well an innocent, sheltered virgin like her wasn't going to be interested in helping an old ghoul like him out with the all encompassing, burning, heat-like effects of that radiation... would she?
