Summary
According to one Sect Leader Nie Huaisang, it was supposed to be an ordinary discussion conference to cultivate relationships between disciples of different sects. Now Lan Xichen was going to kill him because it was turning into a thirst fest over cultivating with one grey-eyed, purple-robed, grumpy sect leader instead.
Aka people drooling over a muddy Jiang Cheng ft Lan "I had to give up being a monk because I felt too much rage" Xichen, Wei "I can kill you twice if you look at my shidi wrong" Wuxian and Lan "Absolutely done with his family" Wangji, plus the troublesome juniors and everybody's terrible flirting skills.
