Summary
The stress is…a lot. And no one understands that better than Gerard, who’s always been the one to help Frank through his deep-reaching anxieties, the ones he can barely stand to look at. Obviously, he’s had Mikey and Ray for general support, and the reassurance of thousands of adoring fans is nice, but Gerard is special. They get Frank out of his head and command his stresses like no other.
“Frank,” Gerard says, voice even. Their hand pauses against his hair. “I need you to talk to me.”
His whole body shudders with the force of his sobs. “I’m…I’m scared. I need you.”
“Okay.” Gerard’s fingers slowly tap a rhythm against his waist and they sit up slightly against the headboard. “What do you need?”
