Summary
Arius-III, a primarily water-based planet that held a frigid climate due to its distance from the sun. Frigid seas and turbulent mountains made up the vast majority of what it had to offer. Landmasses were far and few between, but technological advances led to the formation of manmade structures to allow life to flourish. The vast resources within the world's oceans, ranging from minerals and oils to an abundance of aquatic life, made it an appealing place to study.
The artificial island of Insel Null served as a landing point for those who arrived from beyond the skies and other parts of the world. LeMu, the large attraction built far under the sea's surface, doubles as both a theme park and a resort for tourists. A fourth floor unlisted to the public contains a research facility for studies and experimentation.
This is where Dr Ratio and Aventurine find themselves after recovering from the events of Penacony.

Summary
For the 2025 halloween exchange!
Prompt: AU where the Avgins are secretly vampires. Ratio somehow finds out, at first Aventurine thinks this is what’s going to make their friendship(?) crash and burn but Ratio is like: I need to know what it feels like to be drank from… for science. By the end, not only is their friendship not destroyed but actually levelled up to boyfriendship(?) Aventurine is very confused about how they got here but he’s not going to complain about having a hot boyfriend and a very delicious source of food at the same time.

Summary
Ratio had once called him a peacock, but Aventurine thinks that’s only half true. They’re too passive in all but their feathers, and Aventurine certainly did more than merely dance. Rather, he found his own preening presence more akin to some unnatural hybrid— partly peacock, partly vulture. His feathers may be pretty, but he has always been an ill omen. Despite his glimmering visage, he still subsided on carrion.
And anyway, birds were so much harder to tell apart after they’ve been plucked of their feathers.
“Seems like I’ll need to remind you how I do things if our cooperation is to remain amicable,” Aventurine says with a smile.
In which the final victor scene happens after the two of them have been working together for a matter of years.

Summary
The brain has a tendency to see things where there are none- shapes in clouds, faces in inanimate objects, order amidst chaos. It is a cognitive process in which the mind connects external stimulus to semantic memory, in order to more quickly analyze one’s surroundings. The human mind strives endlessly for meaning and familiarity- it is normal.
For almost two years now, he had seen Aventurine everywhere. Aventurine’s apparition graces lecture halls, libraries, and rain-slick streets at night. For a fleeting moment, he is there, and he is glowing as if an idol, until he turns just so, and the light catches his face, turning it back to what it always was. Then he shifts, and it is a stranger’s face once more, and Veritas chastises himself for ever having thought it was him.
Aventurine never emerged from the shadow of the Nihility. No one in their right mind would have presumed him alive- and yet, here he is.
