If there is a spectrum that covers the majority of friendships, Soobin wonders where this falls onto it.
Yeonjun has done a lot for him in the past, within reason. He’s brushed his teeth and changed his clothes for him. He’s kept secrets and promised not to let anyone else know whenever he’s seen him cry. They’ve snuck snacks and drinks out on late nights and kept quiet about it for weeks afterwards.
Yeonjun has done a lot for him, without the worry that he’s done too much or that Soobin will try and make him do more. It’s an endless sort of kindness. The kind that comes from a bottomless pit.
But for Soobin to ask him to pin him to a wall and get him off— and for Yeonjun to oblige with no hesitation— he can’t help but wonder.
Is this something friends should do for each other?

And not just here, physically in this building, tagging along and being annoying – what is she doing in the city pretending to be a psychic when she should be back in suburbia with a blond, toothy husband and two-point-five kids and a golden retriever.
Or: Jon is a private investigator. Sansa is a fake psychic. They're going to solve crimes.

Like that day on the beach, the food Jongseong always cooked for him, the takeout they ate in front of romcoms only Jungwon cared about. Do you remember?, and the answer always being yes.
