Summary
Ophelia Malone had lived her life. She married, had children, grandchildren and even lived through the death of her husband. Now retired and living in the cottage she and her husband once shared, she did everything she could to keep busy and maintain her status quo as a loving mother and grandmother.
She was complacent living this way. Ignoring the loneliness her husband had left behind for her.
One night she falls asleep only to awaken in a different land, in a different body, and in the middle of a battlefield.
Seemingly stolen from the life she had, Ophelia struggles to find purpose in this home. Stumbling her way into a completely new culture, she finds herself taking up the role of Nanny for the children of the Rohirrim Court.
