The silence that met Joseph’s proposition didn't deter him, but it did make him wary of any stray bubbles that might've made an attempt on his life. He wouldn’t put it past an angry Caesar to try for soapy decapitation. "Like, a competition to show who is stronger, you know?” He tried again, hooking a finger over the top of Caesar’s book and pulling it down slowly. He doubted he was reading it anyway, just flipping through pages to show off how much of an intellectual he was.

But when the next day comes, Zeppeli acts indifferent towards him, barely saying any words at all besides where they’re going and what they’re gonna do. Even with a gruffer tone in some instances. It pissed Johnny off to some degree, because Gyro was acting like that was normal.
(Gyro starts acting funny after an attack from an opposing stand user. Johnny, angered by him and the damp heat of the night, wants answers and takes a drastic measure to get them.)
