Summary
Hermione should have known that the trio would never last, but she had really hoped that Ron would not abandon them in the most dire of times the Wizarding World has ever seen. With Hermione suddenly finding herself stronger and perhaps with a patron to guide her, everything will turn out all right.
With a little bit of angst and (hopefully) a lot more fluff, Harry and Hermione try to navigate new and unexpected allies, betrayal, and hard-fought battles.
(As of starting this, I haven't decided the endgame ship yet, so TBD, sorry readers!)
