It started with a flat tire.
Well, it started with a lot more than that. Three weeks ago, Nancy made the bullheaded decision to drop out of college. Drop out. Nancy Wheeler, everyone! College dropout. She buried her head in her arms, now wrapped around her knees, as she tried to figure out her next steps. She could walk to a local mechanic and see if she could buy one or have her vehicle towed- but that would take hours and she'd need to be driving into Indiana by nine to make it to graduation. Not coming up with any better ideas, though, she made her way to a pay phone to call a tow- which was just about down the road, her one mercy.
The pay phone… she could make a call.
Nancy wasn't the only girl in Massachusetts heading down to Hawkins Indiana.
or, Nancy and Robin go on a thirteen hour road trip and Nancy has a lot of realizations while Robin is just trying to catch up.

Summary
When Frannie was a child she did everything she could to make her father happy. She was a daddy’s girl through and through. She was quiet and never disrespectful. She went to church every Sunday with her mother and father and prayed every night. Frannie had a lot of friends at school and was popular and well liked. She did very well in school though her participation grades were always low. Daddy told her women were supposed to be quiet and always treat their husbands with respect. She was a princess and he was the King. He ruled the house.
Frannie absolutely hated the way her father treated her little sister. Frannie desperately tried to change Lucy. She thought if Lucy could be better then their father would be happier, nicer.
OR
A journey from Frannie's perspective of Lucy/Quinn and Quinn's sexuality and later feelings for Rachel.
