So much lovely queerness! Creature fics are a bit hit and miss for me, but even though it's kinda the central theme, it didn't feel like the creature parts took over the entirety of the plot or Harry's personality. My favorite part, though, is all the cuddly fluffy sweetness between Sev, Reg, and Harry.

Spoilery comment below!(This is one of the few fics where I would've accepted MCD, since by that point, it would've been earned. I won't say I was disappointed, or that the happy ending ruins it. It's a well-written conclusion to a gorgeous story. Still, I wonder what that would've looked like, beyond that pared-down but still devastating chapter.)
