Summary
Maddie made it back into her body and woke up in the hospital with a concussion.
She was not happy.
Unbeknownst to her, Janet’s use of her body, her energy is what kept Maddie’s body functioning, when she should’ve died after hitting her head on the boiler.
Will Maddie find out she’s dying and get back to the school in time?
Simon’s in Mr Martin’s scar. Janet has some ideas on how to fix it.

“Will I see you around, Madeline?” Wally calls after her.
“I don’t know, maybe?” She whirls back around to stop the door from fully closing. “It’s actually Madison, if you care.” She doesn’t know why he would, but she wants him to know her correct full name. For some reason.
He grins, as if they’re both in on a joke. “Right, Madison. And I’m Jeff, short for Jefferson.”
She squints. “Huh?”
Wally backpedals, flustered. “Sorry, I thought you were joking around, ‘cause Madison is like, a last name.”
This is really throwing her for one final loop. “Well… it’s my first name.”
“Oh. Rad. Respect. Never heard of that before.”

Summary
Quantum Superposition describes the possibility that opposing realities can be simultaneously true. Simon is living, but trapped amongst the dead. Can the Split River ghosts affect the nature of the scars and recreate the accident that trapped him in the first place?
Meanwhile, Maddie attempts to pick up the pieces of her fractured life while clinging to her afterlife connections. However, moving forward is nearly impossible without first letting go.
