“Oh! Right—well…” Buck laughed, a little awkward, rubbing the back of his neck and wringing his hands like he was debating whether or not he should answer. “I guess my question would be… do you know what hyperspermia is?”
Eddie froze mid-chew, then bit down—hard—on a slice of orange. The juice hit the back of his throat and sent him into a coughing fit.

“What’s your name, little guy?” the stranger asks, finishing his sentence by shifting his gaze from Chris to Eddie. He has these piercing blue eyes, Eddie thinks he’s never seen such pretty eyes on anyone but Chris before.
“Christopher,” Eddie responds, “he’s seven months.”
“Man, he’s super adorable,” the guy smiles, “I, uh, I love babies.”
Eddie smiles back, “I love this one, I’m all he’s got. His mother’s not in the picture,” and suddenly Eddie is panicking about oversharing to a kind stranger until the guy speaks again.
