Jaemin looks as maniacal as ever, his eyes big and shiny, that same murderous glint behind them, along that killer — literally — smile that always manages to sweep Chenle off his feet. “Seriously?” Chenle asks, incredulous. “You could’ve cut my hand off!”
“Oh, Darling. I trust you just fine, I knew you wouldn’t let me do it,” Jaemin responds with a playful flick of his sword, the sharp tone of his voice sending all kinds of shivers down Chenle’s spine.
Where Jaemin is a lonely man that lives on a creppy, gothic mansion, and Chenle is the thief that comes every so often to steal his possessions — and maybe for a promise of something more, too.

Chenle stills. His eyes snap open, the blurry edges of his vision sharpening as he tilts his head upward—and immediately locks eyes with Jaemin.
Jaemin, whose lips curve into a soft, amused smile that creases his cheeks. The low light makes his features seem sharper, his hair slightly tousled and looking good in a way that’s absurdly unfair. For a single, disorienting second, Chenle thinks: Oh my god, he’s evil.
The thought barely has time to take root before it’s replaced by something infinitely more alarming: Oh, he’s beautiful.
