He had stayed up the entire night of the Ghost Reverence and kept himself vigilant for Jounouchi’s arrival, half expecting him to appear at the very end and admit that he’d slept in or that he’d forgotten. At least then, Kaiba could scold him. But that never happened. It wasn’t until just before dawn that Isono reported the punishment he’d received from Ishizu.
