What if the fish didn't attack the SM-13 or SM-14 at the very end of the movie? maybe this.
Ignore things being out of order, I've seen the movie twice and still can't remember the order of things. :')

Summary
SG-1 is sent on a mission to a strange planet called Elysara. Other SG teams have been sent to investigate a set of ruins that may represent a civilization older than the Ancients. They came back reporting strange happenings and refused to return. A team has even disappeared. Daniel is entranced by the ruins and begins to get sick.
