He thought his parents and sister were the only ones who could give him answers - but the road trip from hell seems hellbent on proving otherwise.
There’s a dragon-snake thing in Florida. Flesh-eating horses in Montana. And an old goat-man who insists Evan’s “Obama-Care hands” is totally normal, then gave him a map to some camp in the New York woods.

As if unearthing family trauma wasn’t enough, now Evan’s weird quirks - making promises, sensing lies, the way animals listen to him - they just might mean something. Like, maybe he’s a demigod. Which is definitely not a thing. Right?
Because Evan Buckley might be spiraling, but even he knows better than to join a cult in the woods. Probably.
