Summary
Katsuki doesn’t mean to fit the crook of his neck right against Izuku’s, but they slide together anyway.
The press of their scent glands sends a jolt from his neck prickling through the rest of his body. The feeling fills him to the brim, then it engulfs him: an empty pit, gnawing away from the inside out. It burns hot and sears through his nerves, and for a moment all he sees is red. Saliva floods behind his fangs, and his skin buzzes where they’re connected.
Katsuki is tired of pretending he doesn’t smell the odd twist in Izuku’s scent. Harbored secrets lead to whims that go against everything they’ve done to stay friends despite expectations, and whims lead to new promises.

Summary
It's awkward. Their scents are mixing. Izuku can feel the sweat begin to bead at the back of his neck. Their chemistry is tested, the way their bodies react and instincts engage.
It's not about sex. In fact, you're not permitted to have penetrating sex at all. The intimacy that is expected is what keeps them silent. They are free from wandering eyes, gossiping mouths, and nosy ears. They, for once, are Izuku and Katsuki.
That's the problem, Izuku thinks idly, watching as Katsuki sits, respectfully; painfully so, like a statue. Not so much as a wiggled finger or a tensed muscle.
Like he's waiting.
And it hits Izuku then, that he is. Waiting. Leaving the pace up to Izuku alone.
"This is…" His voice shakes, nervous and unsure. "This is the first time we've really been alone, together. If you think about it. Where we can just be… us, I guess. No one around to judge."
"Us?"
"Yeah. Not… two betrothed or an Alpha and Omega. Izuku and Kacchan only."
Or: Arranged to wed to bridge the gap between their tribes, Izuku and Katsuki attempt to dismantle years of biased teachings for not just themselves, but the future of their people, too. And, maybe, grow to love along the way.

“Don’t touch me, nerd,” he says, and puts Izuku’s hand directly on his face.
“Kacchan,” Izuku laughs, “I thought you didn’t want me to touch you.”
“I don’t,” he insists, and pushes his head into both of Izuku’s hands even more.

Izuku deals with a high and very affectionate Kacchan fresh from his wisdom teeth surgery and can't help but fall in love with him a little more.

“You'll regret this,” Katsuki warns weakly. “I don't know how to… I've never been in a relationship with anyone before." He bows his head. "I might hurt you, even without meaning to.”
Deku scoffs, pulling back slightly. "You underestimate me, sir." Scarred hands cup his face, and when Katsuki looks up, he sees a fierceness in those green eyes, burning bright with a determination that takes his breath away.
“Tell me, Kacchan—do I strike you as someone afraid to bleed?”
Katsuki lives alone in a small house in the woods. No one visits him, and no one bothers him, which is exactly how he likes it.
Then one day, a witch rolls into a nearby town and becomes its new apothecary.

Or, a sweet little story about a retired grumpy warrior who doesn't think he's worthy of love, and the kind witch who proves him wrong.
