Summary
He’s had to learn what others want from him. Tall-men; they tend to behave more favorably when he jokes around in the typical ‘male’ way. Jokes about beer, wives, and parenting. The women like when he mentions that he’s a family man. But honestly, he’s given up on this ever since his wife left. Dwarves; they’re a little different. They tend to respect his hardworking and tough nature. They’re less chatty than tall-men, but still can be a bit condescending. Gnomes; they don’t need much from them. They tend to be on the kinder and softer side, and respond better to his softer side. They just need a little more kindness.
Elves- they’re unique. They aren’t much for conversation, and generally look down on everyone. Or so he’s heard. He’s never actually been in a party with an elf before.
And here he was, staring at the pair of elves - twins. It’s an unusually small party, with just him and those two. There’s usually another party member. He wouldn’t usually take a job like this, but they did meet all his absurd pricing demands- people do usually negotiate them down, but they just paid it at face value, and they won’t be going super far into the dungeon. Just the 4th floor and then a teleport out.

Summary
Krul doesn’t let Mikaela go outside often. But when she does, he just sits and stares into the desolate, ruined city. He stays there from dusk to dawn, wondering what could’ve been. That is, until he meets a certain energetic human with lavender hair, who snaps him out of his guilty trance.
