Summary
“Good morning,” Pran greeted quietly, not wanting to break the tranquility of the early morning.
“I miss waking up like this, sore and sated,” Pat mumbled, turning his head on his pillow to face Pran.
Pran snorted, because of course Pat would be lewd five seconds into waking up. He loves his boyfriend like this though, and couldn’t help leaning down to kiss the side of Pat’s lips before settling on one side just to look at him.
The two men were so lost in each other. Being together felt like the first dip into water on a hot summer’s day, like the first bite of freshly picked fruit in season, like the first step home after a long trip away. Even after all these years, Pat and Pran treasured each other as firsts, and knew to be each other’s lasts.
(or, the one where Pran returns from Singapore after the first few months and each moment alone was time spent relearning everything about each other's bodies.)
