Summary
Eddie knows he has a strange relationship with touch. Buck knows this too. Yet Ana doesn't realize it and somehow it turns into a double date from hell.

“Hey, so Jason’s mom called and wanted to know if Chris could sleep over tonight since they had a group project due tomorrow,” Buck says loudly.
Ana jumps and adjusts her dress while Eddie’s shoulders sag in relief. Buck wonders if Eddie would ever be ready to touch Ana like she wanted, especially after the shooting.
“Ah, I see he forgot to tell us that,” Eddie states. He gets up gracefully, brushing the wrinkles out of his shirt. “I assume you’re here to grab his school stuff and clothes?”
Buck smiles. “You got me. I hope I wasn’t interrupting anything.”
“He sure is,” Ana mutters. “Hey, Buck. Do you and Taylor want to go on a double date with us?”

Summary
With Gerard as Captain, Buck and Eddie decide to keep their budding relationship on the down low. Especially after the way the man had singled Buck out when his relationship with Tommy had ended two months before. Now a month later, Gerard is still at the 118 with no sign of Bobby returning anytime soon. The Captain of the 118 tries to force Buck and Eddie into searching through a crumbling museum during a five-alarm fire, when both were trying to leave early to head down to El Paso to get Christopher back. When they refuse to search, Gerard goes on the attack and Buck and Eddie hit an artifact that takes their heart's desire into account and throws them back in time to the day they met.

Summary
Buck closed his eyes, but all he could see was that moment when Eddie had been shot, replaying over and over The pillow smelled like Eddie, the shirt smelled like Eddie, the whole bed smelled like Eddie, but Buck wanted the real thing.
And when Buck had left the hospital, Eddie had smelled like antiseptic and sterile hospital clothing.
Buck turned over, pulling the other pillow close and wrapping himself around it. He squeezed his eyes shut, but saw Eddie just getting shot over and over again.
He fumbled for his phone on the nightstand and pulled up Netflix, finding a nice, quiet documentary that he could watch until he hopefully passed out.

The room was just starting to get light when Buck woke up. Netflix hadn’t asked him if he was still watching, so he hadn’t been asleep that long, but Christopher would probably be up soon, and he’d need all of Buck’s attention.
“About time you woke up,” Eddie said from behind him.
“Why didn’t you wake me then?” Buck replied, scrubbing a hand over his face.
“You looked like you needed the sleep.”
Buck shook himself, trying to wake up. “Yeah, well, if you hadn’t been sh—”
