George narrowed his eyes but said nothing.
“He’s been walking a knife’s edge ever since his father died. You're not the first agent to come sniffing around. But you might be the last.”
George hoped his face didn’t give away the shock he was feeling. He wasn’t aware Formula had sent agents before him; no mention of any previous reconnaissance missions regarding the Strolls. “Is that a threat?”
Alonso looked at him with something close to pity. “That’s a warning.”
