“You should kick it. Like…kick it,” he made vague forceful motions with his hands, then looked up at her with his amber eyes. Aayla considered it for a moment, realizing the irony that Bly—ex-military, six foot, built like a brick house Bly—was telling her—accomplished martial artist aside, five foot seven, non-powerlifter Aayla—to kick the door down when he might be able to do so on accident.
She turned her back to the door and gripped the rail for balance, kicking her leg backward into the door, close to the handle. The damn ancient door didn’t so much as creak, but Bly clapped anyway.
“Woah,” he cheered. Aayla tried not to laugh at the genuinely impressed look on his face. “That was…wow. Like, more, uh. Torque, than I expected. Lot of, uh…torque to size ratio. Surprising.”

Sequel to Same Song, Different Verse:

Monkey D. Lucy and Roronoa Zoro are still only halfway to their dreams, but at least they have each other. The New World is hard and dangerous, but like all great things, it's wonderful too.
