“I could use a housesitter while I’m out. Just someone to check in on the place, maybe give it a light dusting once a week. Make sure it’s not burnt down or flooded in some freak accident. Of course you’re welcome to stay over, too. It’s my understanding that Doctor Santos’s relationship with Doctor Garcia is… flourishing. And that maybe you’d both do well with more privacy.”
Dennis’s feet slowed as they approached a covered bus stop, finally stilling once they were underneath the metal sign indicating the stop number. “That is true. I mean, yeah, I could drop by, keep an eye on things, stay over on date nights that are always at our place for some reason...”

Summary
Dennis has been feeling unwell for quite some time.
At the beginning he brushed it off, acknowledging it more to the fact that he was stressed beyond belief working at the ER of Pittsburgh’s Medical Trauma Center and also a month away from getting his diploma. He took some medicine for the vomiting after Trinity practically threw the bottle over his head when he couldn’t keep the breakfast for the third day in a row; and it worked, but only until the effect of the medication wore off, and then again he would want to puke his guts out even if he didn’t eat anything during the entire shift. It also didn’t help the fact that his best friend had been starting to look at him funny when they hung out, smelling him all around and asking if he had changed his perfume of body soap because he now smelled ‘different’.
But he didn’t pay attention to any of those symptoms, of course he didn’t. Because in Dennis’s head the idea of him being pregnant couldn’t even fit. Much less when the father of said hypothetical baby was the attending doctor of the ER he was doing his residency in.

Summary
Dennis had always heard the sentence, ‘I can fix him’, but truly he never believed in it. Too many factors, much more harder than simply loving and supporting his partner. So why is he here standing in front of Robby, who is rambling about breaking things off when he believed he fixed Robby?
At least, Robby’s so-called seven-week-itch.
Or
Robby gets his seven week itch. So he goes on sabbatical and ends everything with Dennis on his last day.
