Summary
When he sat at the end of the world, with the void whispering up to him and everyone else broken and bruised and battered all around him, Parrot felt wrong. There was this growing hole in his stomach, this growing emptiness, and it hurt like loneliness yet it felt like safety. Because there were now only two - just Parrot and his wings, one broken and the other rendered useless - in a world that he had wrongfully trusted.
Parrot, his trust and his wings, and someone who broke two of them (but never the third).
