I LOVED THISSSSS
author did so much fucking research it's unbelievable (they're also joing the navy? I believe? Crazy just crazy. Like a good crazy)
LOVE WE LEONS CHARACTER IN THIS the way he talks acts even his inner voice are so good
Also Chris and Leon dynamic was so good (pls let them go fishing)
Leon and Ethan dynamic also peak (love how Leon being here doesn't take away from Ethan's accomplishments, like that's so hard to do but author managed it)
LOVED LEON having his own Ada moment:'j
I'm genuinely so excited for what will happen next (I've been waiting for Lucas section bcs I think he'd give them the most trouble)

Very tragicly funny kinda foreshadowing with them talking about roles in horror movies and Leon says he's the one who dies near the end to make the audience sad (then comes back in the sequel lol) and then having a death scare in the 12th ch (rn the last one)

Someone could make the case for smuggling—it would be interesting if they got her on piracy. She turns to give her final good-byes, and her heart stops.
“Ryland Grace, you are under arrest.”

Dr. Herrick is chatting up Grace in the corner. Or at least, he’s trying to. Grace is mostly avoiding eye contact, glancing across the room every few seconds towards particularly lively conversations, or looking down at his pack of sour skittles.
Usually, Stratt doesn’t spend much time down here in the bar with the rest of the crew—she’s busy, and she doesn’t particularly wish to soften her reputation. But she has mindless emails to answer tonight, and anyway, she’s been wanting to see how Grace interacts with the others. She’s been curious.
