Seungcheol sighed, squeezing the bridge of his nose. They tried. They really did. However, the only people who could work for them were people who matched well with them. With that, there was always a risk of them caring about the person they hired, sometimes deeper than they should. Although there was no rule in their relationship that they couldn’t, it was always complicated when the person ended up being a human.

Mingyu wasn't just trapped in a cabin with a stranger. He was trapped in a cabin with a devastatingly attractive stranger with a cute laugh and soft voice and gentle hands, a stranger that had saved Mingyu's life and was asking nothing in return, and Mingyu realized, in that moment, that his heart was going to put him in terrible, terrible trouble for this.
Jeonghan had advised that Mingyu do what he could to get off the grid a little, in an attempt to dodge a groundless dating scandal. Mingyu hadn't meant to crash a skimobile into a tree, cause an avalanche, and get himself and his rescuer trapped out in the woods, but it could be worse: his savior seemed kind, he was safe, and the snow was beautiful. And besides, Jeonghan couldn't get too mad at him; Mingyu couldn't exactly be more off the grid than this.

Except today. Because his legs decided that he would get off at someone else’s stop, and live through someone else’s day instead.

“I’d watch what I'm saying if I were you, Jungchan.” Wonwoo warns teasingly, eyes narrowed in a way Chan is attracted to more than he’d like to admit. “Hyung might just start thinking you like him."
A Freudian slip and Wonwoo's worn out car window rubber seals bring on some unexpected feelings Chan wasn't prepared to deal with this Christmas season. Fortunately, his friends are more than willing to lend a helping hand.
