   Summary

   The mortifying ordeal of being human is exhausting. Lumine was sick of being human. They missed being able to stretch out and take up space. Now it just felt like they were continually suffocating— a too-large amount in a container too small.

   That didn't even begin to scratch the surface of the dichotomous existence of humans. Humanity didn't make sense. The Witness had spent millennia watching humans being born, living, suffering, ageing and inevitably dying. Now they- part of The Witness, that which had become Lumine, was one of them.

   Or: Lumine becomes human and is having a horrible time
