What would have happened if Gi-hun had agreed to find the control room with In-ho?
Hwang In-ho doesn’t know when it happened but he’s keenly aware that there’s been a shift.
In-ho acknowledges this as he’s watching Gi-hun’s trembling frame peering desperately through the hatch of the door after the first round of Mingle. The small, practically invisible, beads of sweat pooling by his hairline are slowly crawling down his face; the beads almost complimenting the man’s features which are currently contorted in pain and disbelief. In-ho thinks about what those beads would taste like on his tongue. He thinks about what Gi-hun’s reaction would be if he were to take a taste.
Yes, he doesn’t know when it happened but he knows that it has.

But when the two of them are paired up on an upcoming History project and are forced to work together rather than against, Nam-Gyu feels as though his entire world has tilted sideways. Suddenly, drugs aren't the only things filling his head.
He tried to reason with himself.
He liked his drugs. Not his company.
He liked having a distraction. Didn't like him.
But as they continue to be repeatedly shoved into each other's space, and Thanos's infectious personality begins to consume his every thought, Nam-Gyu starts to wonder if his hatred was even true to begin with. -

Thanos is a young, up-and-coming underground rapper with more ego than money and a knack for stumbling into chaos. When he's made to perform in the small dingy club called Pentagon, he gets promised VIP lounge and free substances, but what he gets is beating and stolen pills, but maybe shit's not all that bad, because at least he gets to spend time with a particularly filthy-mouthed and endearing club promoter who seems to be in the same shits as him.
AKA Thanos becomes a regularly occurring artist at a trashy club, somehow keeps coming back, and maybe falls for Namgyu who doesn't make it easy for him

Summary
Fiddleford knew Ford was a stubborn, annoying wreck when he was obsessed with something. He should have pushed harder and fought stronger and, maybe, if their fight never happened, he would have.
Then there was Stanley. Stanley was rowdy, rude and frank, but he was also caring and fun. He took the difficult task of saving his brother with the rare kind of stupidity that was honestly endearing in a way.
He was ready to go through things the hard way, and McGucket was there to bear witness to it.

Stanley meets McGucket after the portal incident and they work together, live together and become part-time nannies for a duo of local kids.
They also make out in the process to keep up the good morale.

So, when salvation comes in the form of a former fling spinning plans about how to get his revenge and eat it, too, Bill’s all too eager to listen. It’s not like he cares about these people, this place, or anything else here. He’s got plans, big plans, and there’s nothing that can stop him, not even these squishy, human emotions he’s starting to feel.
