Summary
Aether and Xiao are lovers.
Aether has lost his sister and is missing her badly. He has a strong desire to show his love for Xiao because he is afraid to lose him one day. That’s why he always try to reassure Xiao that he loves him through verbal and physical affection. He always try to get Xiao to talk about his feelings because he knows about Xiao's tragic backstory.
Xiao has never received affection before and because he was abused by the evil god, he grew numb to his own emotions. He is reserved and is repulsive when asked about his emotions. He is fine with listening to Aether about his emotion though because he really cares for him. He just doesn't know how to show that he cares.
Or Xiao and Aether hug for the first time :))
