Summary
Most people don’t recognize the subtle intricacies of Falin’s expressions. She’s always worn her heart on her sleeve, but rarely in her features; that brilliant, beaming smile of hers wards off anything else she might be feeling, and she knows she’s doing it, too. Even Marcille has trouble seeing through it sometimes.
But Marcille has always been studious, always been thorough, and she’s always been able to tell when Falin is upset. Her smile goes faintly limp, the creases in the corners of her eyes fading as she seems to tire of the constant cheer for a split second before remembering who she is.
And it’s the exact expression she wears right now, across from her, as they wash the day’s blood and bile off together in the bath.

Summary
Ever since that fateful day when Marcille's mother told her she'd see everyone she ever loved die before her, she's been obsessed with the idea of preventing that from happening.
Then she became Lord of the Dungeon.
And coupled with that goal, soon came the objective of getting Falin back to normal. But what was supposed to be an easy path full of good intentions soon turned into a long, complicated, dark one ridden with souls, blood, manipulation, insanity, and power.

Marcille is the new Dungeon Lord, and as she tries to bring back Falin to normal, the power gets to her head.
