He longs to travel the world, but feels he owes it to his mom to take care of the shop. What happens when the two of them meet?
A/N: this came to me when I rewatched Howl’s Moving Castle and the grip this movie has on me is unreal. Please give this a chance, I promise it’ll be worth it!! Though be warned, slight spoilers for the movie, and you kind of need a basic understanding of the movie plot to fully enjoy it

“What’s the scale of this one?” Liu Zhigeng asked besides him, sunglasses tucked into his hair.
“Grade 3? Shouldn’t be too bad,” Jinwoo remarked, hands tucked into his pockets.
The two of them stared at the massive whirlpool that had formed in the middle of the Pacific Ocean just the other day. Already, Woo Jinchul had secured the perimeter and there had been no air or sea traffic near the area for the past 27 hours. Despite no longer being the Hunter’s Association President, Jinchul was proving himself as an efficient Head of DAOS.
“So are we taking turns at cracking this thing?” Thomas Andre grinned savagely, eyes glowing a low ember. Although the man no longer held a Fragment of Brilliant Light, his natural mana was nothing to scoff at.
“Don’t be childish. The two of you are going in at once.” Saisho appeared out of nowhere, though the three men were well familiarized with his sudden entrances that none of them even blinked. “The Grade changed to Level 1. Mana readings came in and it’s off the charts.”
I'm still delusional over the ending of Solo Leveling so please have this short work of hunters being the hunters that they are :)
