Summary
Yu Ziyuan has been dead for over a hundred years, so it's a bit of a surprise when she dies.
One minute she's watching the youngest Lan daughter bow to her ancestors—it still baffles her that Wei Wuxian counts her as an ancestor, and that he's filial enough to have had a plaque made for her, but here they are—and the next she's choking on blood, her eyesight dimming. Wei Wuxian, she thinks furiously, what have you done now?
Then she wakes up.
Because her bladder is full.
Yu Ziyuan finds herself back in Lotus Pier, before any of her children have been born, and decides that things would go better if Jiang Yanli is the heir, not Jiang Cheng. One change leads to another, and another, and another.
And is Cangse Sanren flirting with her?
Things do not always go smoothly, but sometimes the family you find is the one you should have had all along.
It's a pretty light Mature that could probably have been okay as a heavy Teen. Fully written and beta-read; 73k of raising children, standing up for what one values, and falling in love.

“Wonderful,” says Lan Huan. “Although, those sandalwood notes of your cologne - while very lovely and intense - good choice, brother... I don’t think they’re quite strong enough for your channel’s viewers to catch.”
Lan Zhan exhales. Here it comes.
“Unless,” says Lan Huan, “The reason for all this is at your friend’s flat instead? A person, perhaps?”

Based on this tumblr post
Wei Wuxian is a barista at The Yiling Roastery and finds himself having to deal with nightmare boomer, Jin Guangshan – a situation made more difficult by the fact that a) this is his sister's future father-in-law so he has to be diplomatic, and b) the only other customer in the shop is Lan Wangji, the cute guy from his History class that he keeps wanting to talk to but can never quite meet, and his chances of making a good first impression are now next to zero.
The situation becomes easier to deal with, however, when Lan Wangji starts shoving dollar bills into Wei Wuxian's tip jar every time Jin Guangshan acts like an asshole. And maybe, just maybe, his first impression wasn't that bad after all.
