Summary
Claim -- Dean swallows. Castiel called it that exactly once: mid-fuck, panting with his mouth latched over the sweaty-salty skin, one of Dean’s legs pushed up to the side and over Castiel’s shoulder. Dean had barely thought of it until Castiel apologized later, with his eyes wide and earnest.
Dean probably wouldn’t even remember it if Castiel hadn’t been so freaking weird about it, after.

Summary
“It could be worse,” Dean mumbles drowsily, while Castiel buckles him into the passenger seat. “Hated wraiths when you were gone.” He knocks his head back against the cracked seatback; he doesn’t remember wraith poisoning coming with Honesty Hour.

“Don’t be ridiculous. You can’t lie to Death, Dean, any more than you can cheat me.” He lifts his hands, twisting carefully at his ring. “Now. Would you like to see what I’ve brought you?”

Summary
“It wasn’t like that. Bucky woulda never--” Steve stops and amends, because that isn’t right, either. “He probably thought it woulda killed me. Used to come home with my lungs busted up just working for the grocer across the street.”
Natasha raises an eyebrow. “And after?” She gestures with the hand not still clutching his photo.
“Never got around to talking about it. By the time I figured it out it didn’t matter anymore.” Steve rests his forearms on his knees and buries his face, hiding his eyes as he talks. “When we were kids we used to go out on the roof and watch fireworks, pull all the blankets out onto the fire escape. Stupid as hell. Bucky used to say it was the only time he got away with taking his fella out.” Steve leans back and digs his palms into his eyes.
“God.”
