Summary
“I feel really good about this kid, I think he could be great on your wing, he just needs some help settling in. Someone to show him the ropes.”
“Yes.”
The line went silent for a moment. Ilya wasn’t really sure why his coach felt the need to run this by him.
“Rozanov,” his coach said at last. “I want him to live with you.”
Ilya blinked, then nearly shouted into the phone. “What?”

or, Ilya stays in Boston, gets a rookie, and tries to figure out how to make a secret long distance relationship work while there's a Russian teenager in his house

Summary
Shane wants to figure out if he's gay before he gets drafted—and no, the way he felt when Ilya Rozanov smirked at him with a cigarette between his lips in Saskatchewan has nothing to do with it. Unfortunately, the random guy he hooks up with to try and make sure one way or another takes a picture, and Shane gets outed before the draft. In the ensuing scandal, he goes seventh overall, to Ottawa.
It turns out, having the worst thing you can think of happen to you when you're seventeen years old can end up being pretty liberating. And land you an unexpected best friend.

Summary
His shirt, his shirt was—
“You can’t—“ Shane blurted, “you can’t—you’re not supposed to wear a see-through shirt to Wimbledon. There’s a dress code. There are rules. Like, actual rules that actual people follow.”
The man turned, his eyes sweeping over Shane’s face, down his chest, to the hands clutching the gift bag in his lap.
Shane’s skin prickled. God, it was so hot out here.
“Is not see-through.”
Not see-through? Who was this guy kidding, with his barely-there shirt, tight pants, wild curls, and deep voice?
Maybe this guy didn’t own a mirror.
“What do you mean it’s not see-through? It’s obviously transparent. A blind man would notice.”
“Is not transparent. No blind men here to ask.”
Shane’s mouth dropped open. He looked away, squaring his shoulders and sitting up straight. Just his luck to be seated next to a lunatic.

Shane’s mom said it would be fun, to sit next to a Swedish princess.
What Shane got instead was a Prince with a pinkie ring, a nipple piercing, and zero respect for the Wimbledon dress code.Bookmarked by livilou

Summary
Despite the ordeal being pitched as a family affair, Yuna and David were seated ten rows behind him. Shane had a vague recollection of a conversation about their seating arrangements. You’ll be next to a Swedish prince – no, a princess – no, a prince. Jeez, the font on these emails is too small. David, can you hand me my glasses?
As promised, Shane was seated beside a prince. He was obscenely beautiful. His hair reflected a white-gold twinge in the sun, with eyebrows to match, fading into his browbone. A straight nose, rose-bud lips, and skin as smooth as porcelain. A glittering diamond hanging off one earlobe. Objectively beautiful. Regrettably not who he wanted.
Or: The Wimbledon Swedish Prince fic.
