Kaveh asks, his voice a soft whisper as he leans into Alhaitham, hands wrapping around his bicep as he rests his cheek against Alhaitham's shoulder. Alhaitham looks over at him, laughing softly at his words.“What makes you think you can handle me?”

Summary
A routine patrol of the outer thermal vents turns into a nightmare when a volcanic bloom releases a cloud of electromagnetic spores. For Neteyam and Aonung, the "Way of Water" is suddenly replaced by a terrifying, high-voltage pull they can't fight.
The spores turn their skin into magnets and their hatred into a raw, electric hunger. Every touch is a shock; every breath is a surge. Trapped on a shelf of obsidian and vibrating with a frequency they can't control, the "perfect son" and the reef prince are forced into a neural feedback loop that won't stop until they're both completely undone.
Aonung is the storm, and Neteyam is about to get struck by lightning.
