Buck’s face and neck grow hot, and he dips his head further in shame. “I, uh, I don't know.”
“That’s alright. God forgives those who stray.” There's a rustle of fabric, and Buck sees his shin lift, as though he's crossing his legs. “Confess your sins, child.”

Steve's little nest isn't shitty for lack of good materials. There's plenty of thick towels and soft blankets around the house, even some of his mom's angora sweaters he could sneak into his nest if he dared. Steve, however, has never built a nest in his life before this week, because up till now he's been a beta.
But then there was all that hell-dimension bullshit, several people nearly died including Steve, and as he found out, some people react to that kind of crap by turning into omegas.

“…the normal amount,” she repeats.
“Well, sure.” Steve scrubs a hand through his hair. “Everyone wants to kiss everyone a little bit, right? Like. How did you know it was more than the normal heterosexual amount?”
Robin cannot believe she’s going to have to say this out loud. She glances around the empty store just to make sure no one has somehow teleported in during the last two minutes.
“Steve. Steven. There is no normal heterosexual amount of wanting to kiss people of the same gender.”
He crosses his arms. “Well, that can’t be right.”
