Summary

This is a crime / legal drama about trafficking hidden under bright lights, institutional rot, and two people whose paths keep crossing at the fault lines of one woman’s death. Ichigo/Orihime slow burn; no powers, no hollows, only human choices.

Summary
Much to Ichigo's surprise, Orihime stepped through the door wearing a plain white shirt and a short, pretty skirt. It was the kind outfit she would wear on dates, back before they got married, but one she had swapped out for a more mature, muted closet once they became working adults. It was nostalgic, for sure, but Ichigo couldn't tell what exactly was special about it, other than that she looked as pretty as she usually did—maybe a little younger.
“Um, Kurosaki-sensei?” she ventured, searching his eyes for a reaction as a faint blush colored her cheeks. “You asked to see me about my test scores?”
